Returns with new episodes on the CW January 1st!

so Emily Owens, M.D. just had their mid-season finale...and it was a blast!

It covered moral issues such as whether or not to save a sex offender versus a good guy.  If I remember the quote right, "surgery happens in moments."  Have to be objective...and Will ruined Dr. Bhandari's objectivity when he said essentially the rapist didn't deserve the surgery/to live.

Also, re aforementioned good guy, what to do with someone who was in the country illegally but just wanted the best for his kid.  Dr. Bhandari threw the evidence in the trash can and exclaimed, ""there is protocol and then there are judgment calls...we took an oath to heal the sick. we're doctors, not policemen"

Third and fourthly, the show talked about "coming out" and cheating/indiscretion.

On the lighter side, it pointed towards romantic feelings between Emily and Micah and I think between Will and Emily too.  The way Micah was looking at Emily/his facial expressions made me wish I could replay them.  Micah does seem to act normal still though around Kelly.

Another allude to romance, I love what Emily "thought" in her head when Will and Cassandra were kissing...'Your frenemy kissing your crush: (Do not look away. It's like a disease. You have to expose yourself to acquire immunity.)'

Emily aka Mamie Grummer, performed an amazing and surprising to most, I would expect, cello performance on her birthday party, which Will created, since Emily was such a non-birthday person.  Lucky girl.

In the end, Emily wished to "let go," of judging herself, which I need to too, and hope! the CW lets go of formerly? low ratings and has a change of <3

Can't wait to see what the director, writer and cast have in store still!  and again I hope and pray that the show will stick around, whether in online form, come back in summer, go to a different network, just not die like Three Rivers, which was also a great show.
